Please read these terms carefully before using the Meristem VEII website or enrolling in any of our programmes. They form a binding agreement between you and Meristem Vocational Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Meristem VEII website and services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, students and anyone else who uses our website or enrols in our programmes.
2. Educational services
Meristem VEII provides vocational and entrepreneurship training programmes. Enrolment is subject to availability, programme requirements and payment of any applicable fees. We may change programme content, schedules, fees and availability with reasonable notice.
3. Enrolment and fees
Programme fees are shown at the point of enrolment. Fees are not refundable after a programme starts unless we say otherwise in writing. We offer flexible payment plans and scholarship opportunities, so please speak to our admissions team. Corporate and group enrolments are covered by separate agreements.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, illustrations, graphics, logos, programme materials and curricula, belongs to Meristem VEII or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works without our written consent.
5. Student conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and professionally, attend scheduled sessions, complete assessments honestly, never harass or discriminate against anyone, and follow any programme rules. Breaches may lead to suspension or removal without refund. See our Code of Conduct for details.
6. Certificates and credentials
Certificates are issued when programme requirements are met, including attendance, assessments and project submissions. A certificate confirms completion of a programme and does not guarantee employment. NBTE accredited certificates are subject to NBTE rules.
7. Limitation of liability
Our services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of our services.
8. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be resolved by arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in line with applicable Nigerian law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the new terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes by email or on this website.
