1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design and build pages, not an afterthought, and we review the site regularly.
2. What we have done
- Semantic page structure with clear headings, landmarks and a skip to content link.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines.
- Text alternatives for illustrations and meaningful images.
- Colour contrast checked across our brand palette.
- Forms with clear labels, required field markers and error messages announced to screen readers.
- Layouts that reflow from large desktop screens down to very small screens and zoom up to 400 percent.
- Animation that switches off automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
3. Known limitations
Some older news articles and third party content, such as embedded videos or partner documents, may not yet fully meet these standards. We are working through them, and we will provide any content in an accessible format on request.
4. Accessibility in our programmes
Persons with disabilities are one of the groups we are proud to serve. Free language assistance, auxiliary aids and reasonable accommodations are available on request, including adjusted assessment arrangements, accessible seating and materials in alternative formats.
